As you may see on my site, I'm quite fond of Anime. I'm actually not just fond of it, but consider it as part of my life. It had been there with me through the ups and downs of my life. Whenever I feel sad, a RomCom anime would perk me right up. If I ever feel lonely, a sweet slice-of-life would definitely fix that. Even when I'm happy and just want to extend that happiness for the whole day, a cool Shounen series will be my go-to. Also, whenever I wish to just have a piece of mind and get out of this world, I tune in to some Isekai.
I know that there are countless people that have the same experience as me when it comes to Anime, which is why I made my shop have several ventures they can choose to further their Anime life. In case you would need validation of the kind of shop I have and the person I am, maybe a top anime list would help. A top 10 list would most likely be too long, so I'll just narrow it down to one for each category I had above: RomCom, Slice-of-life. Shounen and Isekai.
ROM COM (Romantic Comedy)
ToraDora! (Tiger x Dragon)
This is my memorable RomCom anime, since without this, I may not have gone on my Anime path. This show really has all the emotions being pulled out of you. The pacing and ending of this show is one of the, and still, the best I've seen in anime. The interactions between each character are all great, and the comedic timings are all on point as well.
SLICE-OF-LIFE
Clannad/Clannad After Story
If ToraDora was the one that solidified my path with Anime, Clannad, and its sequel Clannad After Story, started it all. The characters and beautiful storytelling got me hooked and made me realize that anime is not all just about action scenes and superpowers. It has all the feelings you may expect to get in an everyday life, which is why for me, it is the best slice-of-life anime.
SHOUNEN
Haikyuu!!
At first glance, this may just be another sports anime for some, but for me, this is the best representation of a shounen anime. This show has everything, may it be action, adventure, comedy, and drama. The interactions between characters, may it be between allies or enemies, friends or rivals, are all fun and entertaining. You can almost put yourself in any character's perspective, and the MC really feels like an actual person that I can relate to.
ISEKAI
No Game, No Life
This show really is out of this world, literally. The main characters are both smart and always use their knowledge of the other world to help them with their journey. There are all sorts of fun moments, and also cool smart scenes that make you feel that you have a bigger brain as usual.
